It's still summer. And it's still HOT! Temps have been in the high 90's to low 100's for weeks now and no one wants to be outside. So today, Queen Leslie has invited us to her home for a craft day and lunch.
Leslie did a lot of prep work to get everything ready and organized for us. And she made a sample for us to follow . . .

Such a cute little wall hanging, perfect for the fall season.
The supplies. Leslie pre-drew the wreath on the board, which made it so much easier for us.
Demonstrating how to paint the wreath. Time to get busy.
The paint needed to dry before we could do the next step - perfect time for a lunch break.
So delish! Baked Ziti, Broccoli Salad, Green Salad, Deviled Eggs and Warm Bread & Butter
After we had eaten more than we should, it was time to put the finishing touches on our projects.
Leslie showed us how to make cute little bows to hot-glued onto the frame,
along with the word "Thankful" or "Welcome".
Our projects all turned out so beautiful. Absolutely perfect for Fall.

Thanks Queen Leslie for all your work in designing such a cute craft for us and for teaching us how to make it. We all had a great time. In fact, we were having so much fun we didn't want to leave, so we hung out and Kathy taught us how to play Hand-Knee-Foot, a super fun card game that we must play at a Red Hat Event one day soon.
